DESCRIPTION: Hiking the Bear Creek trail feels like a real expedition into the wilderness. After crossing into the river’s valley, the trail follows (and often simply is) Bear Creek. While you’re sure to get wet at the dozens of knee-to-waist deep crossings, it makes for a unique experience, often with few other hikers around.
