Aya Obeid

When Aya was eight years old and living in Pittsburgh, she made her dad buy her a tent and she slept in that tent in her backyard. It took a lot of cajoling to get her to ever come inside. Ten years later, she made the decision to move to a sunny place where she would never have to go inside again! She also made the surely common mistake of thinking that moving to LA would be like moving to the 60s— but that was just wishful thinking, since she loves hippy dippy crunchy granola flower crown making times. Upon realizing that LA was a concrete jungle, she joined peaks to keep her #thinking#outside so she can finish her International Relations major. She spends her breaks with her family, now living just outside of DC and her free time climbing, surfing, rafting, and (of course) hiking. She loves learning about languages, listening to folk music, and public transit, but she’s curious about everything so tell her about what you are learning!
