Mark Stephenson

Mark is a senior from the Bay Area majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Classics and Math, but spends most of his time playing with rockets. He enjoys long walks on the beach, longer walks through the foothills, and really long walks in the mountains. Mark also enjoys sharing his opinions on backpacking gear, niche music genres, tools, and postmodern books, but feel free to ignore him once he’s 10 minutes into a rant about why Mahler, Mingus, and Zappa are the greatest composers or why the Half Dome 2+ tent is the best tent ever (it seriously is). Mark was hiker trash a few summers ago, pictured left.
