Temescal Canyon to Skull Rock w/ Sarah McGill {Physical Education}

Signups typically happen through these buttons, but signups for this trip will happen in person at the involvement fair on Aug 31 Wednesday 11AM-2PM.

This hike is for all the current and aspiring gym bros. Leave the skullcrushers at the gym and join us on this 4.5 mile hike with Physical Education professor Sarah McGill on the Temescal Canyon trail to Skull Rock, a super dope rock formation. Learn about proper squatting form, how to set a volleyball, and how to get CPR certified from Professor McGill as we admire views of Malibu, the Santa Monica Mountains, and even Downtown. This is the perfect coastal hike to escape from the ramping up of school assignments.

PACKING LIST:

  • Sunscreen/hat

  • Athletic shoes/ Hiking shoes

  • WATER!!!!! (At least 2 liters)

  • snacks if you’d like

  • SIGNED WAIVERS



Professor Sarah McGill is a woman of many talents, teaching classes in weight training, volleyball, first aid, health coaching, and more. She’s passionate about getting students interested in physical activity, whether they’re complete beginners or seasoned athletes due to the many effects that exercise has on the brain and the body through one’s lifetime. If you ever have 2 extra units, taking one of Coach McGill’s Physical Education classes is definitely the move.
