PROFESSOR: David Albertson

DEPARTMENT: Religious Studies

RATE MY PROFESSOR: "Hands down my favorite professor at USC. If you get an opportunity to take a class with Prof Albertson, DO IT!! He cares about his students, and his lectures are absolutely incredible. He breaks down the text in a way that makes it so much more clear and easy to relate to the present day."

David Albertson is currently an Associate Professor of Religion at USC. He earned his B.A. in Religion from Stanford University and his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. With his unquestionable expertise in Religion, he explores Christianity in medieval and early modern Europe through a variety of lenses including philosophy, natural science, visual culture, and mathematics. Definitely ask him about his book on the intersection between mystical theology and medieval number theory!
