Inspiration Point Trail w/ Kristof Aldenderfer {Information Technology Program}

Take a break from finals prep and join Prof Aldenderfer on a quick and easy 2.7 mile hike near the Pacific Palisides on the Inspiration Point Trail in Will Rogers State Historic Park . We’ll get to enjoy views of the ocean and even Getty museum on a clear day. It’ll be a short hike as we will likely be back on campus by 12:00 for lunch but no doubt a great way to start the morning.

Kristof Aldenderfer teaches courses in the Information Technology Program at USC. His interests lie at the intersection of software, hardware, and creativity. He is currently teaching Programming and Data Analytics courses. Prior to working at the University of Southern California, Kristof worked at the American University in Washington, DC as the Director of the Design and Build Lab, a rapid prototyping space where students, staff, and faculty create things to solve problems.


PEAK: Inspiration Point Trail

DIFFICULTY: 2/5

SCENERY: Experience multiple unique vistas of the Los Angeles basin and Santa Monica Bay with clear day views of Catalina, Saddleback Peak, and Chino Hills.

FUN FACT: The loop was a favorite of Will Rogers and the visiting elite of early Hollywood.
