A city hike? In Los Angeles? Yeah, you read that right! Join us for this trek on a portion of the locally famous Park to Playa Regional Trail through an LA hidden gem. We’ll do a 6 mile loop exploring Kenneth Hahn Park and Baldwin Hills, enjoying some urban views along the way!

PROFESSOR: CHRISTIAN PHILLIPS
DEPARTMENT: POLITICAL SCIENCE
Professor Phillips teaches in the Political Science Department of Dornsife. Her research addresses political behavior, electoral institutions, and political incorporation, with an emphasis on the intersection of race, gender and immigrant communities in American politics. Fun fact: she recently published an award-winning book!
