Join Peaks and QuestBridge for a peaceful Saturday morning 3-mile hike in urban LA! We’ll meet Michael Petitti, literary king and LA expert, at Kenneth Hahn State Park, pass through the Stoneview Nature Center, and stop at a couple special spots - like a waterfall and gazebos with a view of the city!
QuestBridge is a national nonprofit seeking to connect low-income and first gen students with partner colleges and universities. USC’s chapter’s website can be found here
(as stated earlier, this trip is intended as a space for FG/LI identifying students to connect and explore the outdoors, please refrain from signing up if you do not fit that description)

Michael Petitti is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in Thematic Option. He publishes on the American cinema, and he teaches courses on film, literature, food, Los Angeles, and writing. When he’s not pretending to be a hiker, he’s usually eating a burrito and/or watching a movie.
