Lauren Daneshgar

Lauren is a junior studying cybersecurity with a minor in human security and geospatial intelligence. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she loves hiking and exploring the outdoors. Her history with camping has been… unconventional, ranging from spending the night on a bench outside Taper Hall during the 2022 heatwave (she had no AC) to freezing in Joshua Tree after Vedant decided to be a thief and steal her wonderfully, gloriously warm sleeping bag.

She’s always down for a good day hike and is working on learning to camp like a responsible adult. When she’s not hiking with Peaks, you can find her befriending stray cats while pretending she’s not allergic, annoying her friends, and reading on the “hill” in McCarthy quad.
