On this alternative Peaks trip, you will have the opportunity to see, taste, and understand Los Angeles like never before. We will start at Elysian Park, grab some lunch at a fusion taco truck, visit Professor Gustafson’s Echo Park home, and then round off the tour at Vista Hermosa Park. Get excited for some amazing views and hipster tacos.

Professor Gustafson is fascinated by the histories and mythologies of Los Angeles. He relates music, film, and literature to reveal the different understandings people have of the city.

Nick is a Junior from Philadelphia, PA studying urban studies and planning. He dabs unironically and enjoys going to Karaoke in K-Town. Some of Nick’s other passions include baking, metro systems, Adele, Trader Joes, and dog petting.
