Dr. Varun Soni’s credentials are extensive. He is the Vice Provost at the Office of Campus Wellness and Crisis Intervention, the Dean of Religious Life, an adjunct professor in the School of Religion, and a University Fellow at the Annenberg Center for Public Diplomacy. He has a B.A. degree from Tufts, an M.T.S. degree from Harvard, a M.A. degree from UC Santa Barbara, a J.D. degree from UCLA, and a Ph.D. from the University of Cape Town. While most of us have spent semesters calling Leavey Library our home, Dr. Soni spent a semester as an undergraduate living in a Buddhist monastery in India.
