Los Padres National Forest + Solvang w/ Terry Curtin

  • Figueroa Mountain Road CA United States (map)

Join us on a journey to a little known Dutch town — Solvang! Established in 1911, this little town is home to a number of restaurants, bakeries, and merchants offering a taste of Denmark in California! After some daytime exploring, we’ll head on to Los Padres National Forest for a beautiful camping night! We’ll wake up early Sunday morning to hike Figueroa Mountain before heading back to campus! You should be in for a weekend of history, nature, and yummy treats!

PROFESSOR: Terry Curtin

DEPARTMENT: Cinematic Arts — Peter Stark MFA

A veteran film marketing executive, Terry Curtin serves as a adjunct professor teaching Motion Picture and Television Marketing at USC's Peter Stark MFA program. She previously worked in marketing at DreamWorks Animation, Universal, Disney, and other local studios! When not working, Terry loves crafts, yoga, paddle boarding, hiking, and provoking her Trojan family members (she went to UCLA, but we can look past that just this once). She loves all things books/movies/music, and would consider herself somewhat of a hoola-hooping fiend (it’s good for the core)! Terry is super excited to join Peaks (and her daughter) on another trip, especially to a place she grew up visiting — Solvang!
