PROFESSOR: Pamela Starr
DEPARTMENT: International Relations
RATE MY PROFESSOR: "Starr was one of my favorite professors at USC. She's incredibly demanding of her students, but she gives you the skills you need to come out proud of what you've done.”
Professor Starr is an associate professor of teaching in the School of International Relations, specializing in risk analysis, U.S-Mexico Relations, and Latin American political economy. She is also Director of the U.S-Mexico Network, and a university fellow at the USC Center for Public Diplomacy. Prior to teaching at USC, she worked in global political risk advisory at the Eurasia Group, and also spent eight years teaching at a private university in Mexico.

FUN FACT: Throughout its history, Runyon Canyon Park has been owned by a world-famous Irish singer, an heir to a grocery store fortune, and a man who got rich selling coffee-flavored liqueur.
