This trip is part of the 2022 City Nature Challenge! Finals stressing you out? Need a study break in the beautiful mountains north of Hollywood? This trip is for you! Join us on a nice five mile hike on the Betty B Dearing Trail as we participate in the 2022 City Nature Challenge. Using an app called iNaturalist we will be observing, photographing, and documenting species along the way. Don’t miss it!

Dr. Cambell-Arvai is a long time scholar, researcher, and professor of environmental studies. She has focused on three main areas of study: Food, Energy & Climate, and Urban Ecosystems/Ecosystem Services. She has been published over eleven times and has worked at seven different universities in the United States and Canada. Come on the trip to learn more about Dr. Cambell-Arvai!
