¿Intentando de mejorar su Español? ¿Buscando oportunidades de salir a los senderos? ¡Únanse a Peaks, LSA (Latine Student Assembly), y SUSA (Spanish Undergraduate Student Association) para una caminata de colaboración especial con el profesor David Zaraza para practicar sus habilidades conversacionales y “pensar afuera” (aka think outside)! Visitaremos Eaton Canyon Falls sobre una caminata fácil de 4 milas que nos llevara cruzando riachuelos y observando flora nativa, y al final hay una cascada.
Nota: Ningún requisito de idioma - todos son bienvenidos sin importar el nivel de su Español - pero debería estar preparado para participar en una caminata ejecutada completamente en Español.

Join Peaks, the Latine Student Assembly, and the Spanish Undergraduate Student Association for a special collab hike with Spanish Professor David Zarazúa to practice your conversation skills AND think outside! We’ll be heading to Eaton Canyon Falls for an easy 4 mile hike to a beautiful waterfall, crossing streams and Southern California flora along the way.
Note: No language requirement - all are welcome whether you’re fluent or still learning - but be prepared for a fully Spanish-speaking hike (language immersion woo!)

Professor David Zarazúa teaches Spanish at the Department of Latin American and Iberian Cultures and at the Global Medicine Program. He is an avid traveler and tries to hike whenever possible. He considers the San Gabriel Mountains part of his "backyard". Environment conservation is also one of his main interests.
