TRIP DESCRIPTION:
We’ll be taking a short drive into the Angeles National Forest to hike Mount Waterman (and possibly other nearby peaks) then camp at the nearby Buckhorn Ski Lodge in a trip filled with mindfulness, gratitude and performance of course, Not sure what performance science is? Dr. Fox is the person to ask!
PACKING LIST:
Tent (if you have one. If not, we will try to provide!
Sleeping bag (Same as above)
Sleeping pad (Same as above)
Mess kit (fork, knife, tupperware, cup, etc.)
Proper clothing/layers for nighttime

FUN FACT: This area doubles as a ski resort in the winter (maybe we’ll find some leftover snow!)
PROFESSOR: Glenn Fox
DEPARTMENT: Performance Science Institute
Dr. Glenn Fox is a neuroscientist by training and completed his PhD and research on the intersection between gratitude and performance at USC’s Brain and Creativity Institute. He now teaches Marshall entrepreneurship elective, “The Science of Peak Performance” as the capstone class of USC’s new Performance Science minor and is Head of Program Design, Strategy and Outreach at the institute. Some of his hobbies include restoring cars, woodworking and staying active.
