Do you like cool hikes but dislike that they don’t teach you about the film industry or USC’s Thematic Option Program? Well you’re in luck! Join us for a beautiful hike with Dr. Richard Edinger where we will hop from bank to bank of a creek as it leads us up the 3.5-mile trail to Eaton Canyon Falls.

PROFESSOR: Dr. Richard Edinger
DEPARTMENT: Dornsife Honors Programs
Dr. Richard Edinger is the director of the Dornsife Honors Programs and a USC Alumni. He has experience working in the Los Angeles film industry as will as teaching in the Thematic Option Program where he currently leads a Liberal Arts Reading Salon.
PEAK: Eaton Canyon Falls Trail
DIFFICULTY: 2/5
SCENERY: A winding creek that runs through Eaton Canyon as well as a 40-foot waterfall that forms a small pool at its base
FUN FACT: The water from the falls and creek allows lush vegetation to grow on the sides of the trail
